Jawo junior stands accused for manslaughter contrary to section 182 of the criminal code. The accused however told the court that he had no defence counsel and no witness in the case when the charge sheet was read to him. At that...Driver to Be Sentenced for Causing DeathJerreh Touray, who caused the death of one Sainabou Mendy, is expected to be sentenced soon. Jerreh was on Thursday arraigned before magistrate Edrisa Mbai of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court where he admitted causing the death of Sainabou by knocking her down with a vehicle. The accident occurred somewhere around Sambuya in September of last year. Touray is expected back in court for the determination of the outcome of his case. |
