15 youths from Gunjur and the surrounding area recently concluded a one-day workshop in disaster management and control at the Tarud building in Gunjur.
The workshop was organised by Gunjur Environmental and protection development group (GEPADG).

Speaking at the closing ceremony the Director of GEPADG, Mr. Badara Njie, said the workshop was organised to equip participants with skills and knowledge in the control of disaster.

He pointed out that GEPADG will continue to raise environmental awareness Kartong to Koina and will continue to protect and develop Gambian biodiversity.
He urged the participants to make good use of the knowledge gained from the workshop and share it with friends and their communities.

He thanked the participants for the commitment, dedication and hard work during the workshop.
