Nigeria got rid of all those cowboy operators with worn out old aircraft, Gambia should never have allowed the likes of Slok Air come and set up operations here . I am sure that if Maimuna Taal was still at GCAA they would not have even set foot in the country and rightly so. Africa has a dreadful record for aviation safety Gambia needs to take a look at what Nigeria is doing to make flying with it's airlines safe, or Ethiopian Airlines which has a perfect safety record.Probably Slok is finding even it's cheap old worn out 737s are now too expensive too run with the current increases in the price of aviation fuel.
