Current Feed ContentGamtel staff faces traffic chargesOne Ousman Badjie, a staff of Gamtel, was yesterday arraigned before Magistrate Buba Jawo of the the Kanifing Magistrates Court on three charges of traffic related offences. According to the prosecution, Mr Badjie, on 14th December, 2006, along the Kombo Sllah Drive, drove a motor vehicle (registration number BJL 1532B) in a negligent manner, which resulted to the affliction of injuries to one Dabo Ndong. In count two, the accused on the same day, drive the same motor vehicle without due care...Youth remanded for inflicting body harmSaikou Dampha, a resident of Bakau, was on Monday, remanded at the State Central Prisons at Mile II by Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court. Saikou was charged for assault which caused actual bodily harm and serious injuries to one Lamin Njie. The incident occurred on April 27 at Cape Point in Bakau. When the charge sheet was read to him, Saikou told the court that he wished not to say anything until he secures a lawyer. He told the court that he was in the process... |
