Dream Park: Dream Come True

One of five amusement parks in Africa and of course the first of its kind in Gambia, Dream Park exudes comfort, luxury and intelligence. The park is located in the Tourism Development Area, filled with bumper cars, self-control Unidentified Flying Objects, bumper boat, the flying man, the happy express, spaceship, crescent swing, tilts and whilts, fighting castle for kids and an array of other amusement games.

A perfect place for a weekend away, Dream Park is warm and inviting. “ It’s like staying in an amusing, intelligent and stately home. The park is a perfect place for a family. Not every family can go to the beach for fun, hence a need for Dream Park. Dream Park exposes children to technological innovations such as the spaceship, bumper car and boat,”  said Mohammed Ali Aveshi, one of the proprietors of Dream Park.

“The park can make kids intelligent. It has been Scientifically proven that amusement parks can make children more active from a brain power point of view,”  added Baddi Jaiteh, the park’s manager.

Dream Park, expected to contribute significantly to the growth of the country’s tourism industry, is for all colours, races, income bracket, age and it has a modern restaurant, a sweet and toy shop and toilet facilities.

THE GOVERNMENT ITSELF SHOULD TRY AS MUCH AS IT CAN TO PUT UP SUCH FACILITIES IN MOST PARTS OF THE URBAN AREAS TO ENCHANCE THE COGNITIVE GROWTH OF OUR YOUNG POPULATION .IT IS VERY TRUE THAT THIS HELP IN UPBRINGING THE KID'S INTELLIGENCE SO IF PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS OWN SUCH ENTITIES IT WILL BE VERY COSTLY TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC UNLIKE WHEN OWN BY THE GOVERNMENT HENCE IT'S ROLE IS NON LUCRATIVE.

At Last this park has been allowed to operate after a long period of squeezing by the deadly corrupt Gambian officials mainly at the TDA. Some reasons given was refusing the park to start operations since late last year was that it had no license, then I ask why did the building start? I appeal to our President to kindly allow such parks to operate as it is both entertaining and educative.above all the kids would be in safe hands and a safe place rather than idling in the streets or at the beach where anything goes.To our greedy TDA administrators please be careful, our kids are our future and we need to groom them well for the challenges of life above all, this park has employed some Gambians thus reducing the unemployment figure. If our municipalities cannot build such playgrounds for our kids why should we not be thankful to private people and businesse who build them. Thanks to the proprietors and all who made this dream come true

Shame on you Mr Touray making wild allegations that are likely to affect peoples jobs without offering one grain of proof or even specifics.
but am sure it is just the usual Gambian pleasure of gossip mongering.
blaming people for trying to do there jobs in trying to protect young children.
you make no mention of the fact that after being given operations license the park started hosting live entertainment for adults in a place touted for young children.
any brains would point to possible problems ie pedophiles.
