Tao opened its door to the public in September 1997.
Asian Cuisine is the food of the house, with the oriental Thai taste making up the bulk of the menu. Meat and Fish dishes in red and green Thai curry are always popular as in the classic Chinese Hot and sour soup.
As an alternative to the main menu there is a super Buffet offered every Thursday. Bookings are recommended

May i ask you to do me a big favour please, there is a housemaid working at the Tafbel Hotel named Aminetta Jatta, is it possible to give her a message and tell her that Alan from the UK will be coming to the Gambia on the 5th november 2007 and will call in and visit her.
It is two years since I last visited her and hopefully we can dine in your restaurant many times.
