D160,000 for WR Nayconf LOC

The Brikama Area Council (BAC) and the Christian Children’s Fund (CCF) last Saturday made benevolent donations of money amounting to one hundred and sixty thousand dalasis to the Western Region local organising committee of the 2008 biennial National Youth Conference and Festival (NAYCONF) at a presentation ceremony held at the office of the Western Region governor in Brikama. The Banjul Red Cross branch under the umbrella of The Gambia Red Cross Society on Saturday celebrated its 10th annual youth gathering at the St Augustine’s Senior Secondary School.
