She/He will also work in close collaboration with the National Focal Point of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC Focal Point), The National Focal Point of the Global Environment facility (GEF Focal Point) and other teams that are working on climate change and other Multilateral Environment Agreements (MEAs).<br /> <br /> In addition to the general accountabilities listed above, the Senior Climate Change Superintendent will perform the following duties:<br /> <br /> 1. Deal with most of the correspondence needs of the Department of State, both nationally and internationally, as they relate to climate change issues;<br /> <br /> 2. Undertake political outreach on climate change issues, particularly with regard to negotiations of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change;<br /> <br /> 3.
