I have been reading postings on here that seem to depict immigration as a negative thing. Say, conveyed in a context of being wrong and let's stop it - kinda thinking. If my thoughts are misconstrued, will take back anything that follows suit.

All what I am to say is just a thought but am also being defensive about it. With respect to common Human decency I did not expect this to be an issue excepting where negativity overrides good. Meaning, given that planet earth is endowed to man our natural rights to occupy it is encompassed within. Again, everyone has a choice to choose where to or how live their lives, but with laws, rules and regualtions that we set for ourselves its okay to respect them. For me, as long as those rules are respected I dont see any wrong in any group or race of people choosing to migrate - say to China. My only problem, however, would be if they caused crime, uncivil, uncorporative and made life a living hell for those already there. Those are issues worth talking about, but I am saddened by news of those lives lost in the process of immigrating. There are options to everything we do, but in this situation the media is always quick on to place blame on a certain people of the govt. All things considered, I belief each of us can do something about it regardless of if you do or don't know how.

There is also this fervent belief that President Jammeh is running an infallible regime or should be exempt from liability to error or judgment. Don't you think its a bit excessive and irresponsible to insult people who criticize him? Sure, if you feel he's the best in your generation, congratulations but does not necessarily mean it is as is to the rest of us. Our morals, don't allow us to belief there is such thing as a perefect leader. If that makes horrible people, then, yeah - shame on me but I will never dissuade from my conscience of right and wrong.

For President Jammeh, I think he's a terrible idea for Gambia regardless of his successes, if any.

Would personally like to use this moment to apologize to all those my responses offended. I understand this forum isn't designed just for me, meaning a lot of people with real purpose come on here to have a gist of what's happening in the Gambia and opine along the along the lines. I am ashamed that some might have had the wrong impression of us and especially about me - for that I offer my sincere apologies.

Now the apology is about my colorful language, but not for the intent it meant to serve for that individual. I have long maintained a character of respecting people and their views even where they might have been misinformed. Yet, I support their thought process and try the best I can to see their point of view. Maybe, where they're coming it makes sense that way, therefore, my way(s) isn't always the way. So, if someone comments about something I dont agree with and have to comment will normally use common decency about it.

A lot of you may have missed on my original posting but I responded to the Commonwealth's supposedly investigation the Gambian president. In a nut shell: it's overdue yet cautious as to motives driving this sudden concensus on Gambia. For some reason, these comments never sat well with About Sanyang, responded with a very stingy and contused statement. Look we're all educated and civilized people, so am not gonna sit here and quote or reference you doctrines, constitutions and declarations about rights but I am within my freedom of informaiton natural rights to make comments about anything I want to. Regardless of whether you agree or not, no single individual owns truth, knowledge and ways we decide to lead our lives. So if I write about a thought in here, I dont deserve to be insulted - feel free to counter a post. I love to debate, let's reason and share the way we think and maybe through that we can all learn something that would end up strengthening our character. Abou sanyang sort of adopted Yahya Jammeh's character of I make and own the truth, dont dare challenge me attitude or you will never live see another day. Who is he to say I cannot talk the way I do? Is it wrong for me to say something about Gambia and her President? He called me names, made me wonder what kind of rights he has to insult and call me yets of which I am void of.

So I appreciate, you guys trying to do something about it and sense of thought especially to the Pragmatic.

Abou Sanyang, or whoever the Franken you are I am beginning to question your well roundedness and up to your maturity. In as much as I welcome a challenge and criticism, I never insulted you straight up. I made comment about a government system I very well offered blessings to and very well helped create.

Therefore, as a Human being and Gambian I am endowed with the rights to give my critique. I noticed this offended you but I dont give any gosh darn about it, so I suggest you take your vengeance else to some forum where your pomposity might be embraced. If you ever dare bring your barf out here again, you will be forced to swallow it.

Insults are for kids and those mentally inadequate jerks who dont posses the ability to express "Catch that Knowledge" type of thing. This forum is free, everyone has the privilege offered to express their natural born rights. If you don't like it, take it to the judge, well in your case - your president. Let him sue me or better yet kill me. Talk of hypocrisy, here's a friendly advice, you don't like comments we make here about your government - take a hike. No one will ever notice you were here, but if you wanna say something about it, call us to reason. Judging us makes things ugly, nasty and senseless.

So if you got balls like I do, I suggest you back off or show your face you will regret it. keep your knowledge, love and worship for Yahya but dont spread it on me 'cuz i ain't your problem.

Mr Abou Sanyang, between the two of us if anyone is or was in a comma that would be you - trust me. All you are doing is being a deuce bag nothing more. You have said it yourself, that you are one refuses to take insults. Think about it, I never insulted I merely I challenged the Commonwealth and the Gambian President, but you are the one that felt offended then directed insults to my imputs. You are twisted inside than you think. I mean, I am not going to judge you, you just have to figure this one out on your own.

Grow up and live in the moment, we're no longer bounded by handed over thought process. If you have to challenge do so on something that is real, not something petty and being hypocritic.

Mr Abou Sanyang, I intend to keep this response short and simple. I am not responsible for your thought processes, even though I highly respect your viewpoints without chauvinism; beware that you got your cows crossed and morals perverted on this one. If you are gunning to become Jammeh’s pet – good luck but you are barking at the wrong tree. The way you think is dangerous, gives us the idea of your inability to embrace someone’s piece of mind. Sensible comments are stingy, and so you respond with insults and unreal accusations. Makes me wonder, why the likes of you always feel you invented the truth and so it belongs to you.

This is an open forum where all are free to educate one another about anything we feel its worth discussing. Normally, decent people who felt someone may have been misinformed about something usually come in and share their grace, yet leave a little room for error. Every comment on here is open to communication, simply ‘cuz it makes sense to you does not necessarily mean it makes sense to all. I pity you, really and even though you believe to be a learned individual, you are far from being part of this diverse world.

Threatening death is not a way of having the best interest of the people, a leader’s purpose is to advocate for peace and progress. No matter how intense, tricky and complicated things are, his/her duty is good governance, mediation, and social security. Unfortunately, we live in a generation where people die for the sake of peace and security but so far it yielded nothing, at least far as I know except for more violence and instability. There will always be those who would never agree with the rest of us, yet it is still our duty to protect and educate them. What you are saying is crucify them, throw them out, and disregard their humanity. Heck, am not advocating for aggression or turmoil in my country but it is wrong for a leader to threaten the citizenry on national television with death.

Besides, how did the president end up being there? Answering this question in every which way makes you a hypocrite. So, I say it again, if the president has any conscience he should concentrate on good governance. My name is real and I have no reason to hide anything, talk of faking, how about your name and where you said you came from, “Africa, World?” What a fraud you are, shankapotamus.

PS//: I am not afraid of a challenge, and shall await your response, consider this too kind.

The Gambian President has made himself an Untouchable, or is he? I read this piece of news weightless though, 'cuz today's leaders would say anything just to earn front page news - its good for their image.

However, I also feel this is overdue in Gambia. The president needs to learn his place and beware the office belongs to the people. Now, I am not advocating for violence but for someone to threaten govt. change with violence is a sign that the president should maybe rethink his habits.

He came to power through force and won hearts (except mine) by promising his govt would be a transparent one. Well, Time is definitely a scropulous judge. Thus, you dont need me to tell you how far we fared since 1994. Obviously, there had been successes to his regime as well as enormous failures.

Now I am not one to keep a blind eye on his failures then raise a ho-hum performance on his successes. I hold both in high regard without prejudice. People are owed civility in a democracy they created and that's why the world created a system (The United Nations) to protect Humanity.

Let me spare you the mumbo jumbo as I dont know what the hell I am talking about, but here is what I do know. President Jammeh should spend less time worrying and threatening people with death and concentrate on Democracy and good governance. No one is perfect and will ever be, if you are worried about your ways, ask the people. Reach out for help, the people will never be bashful telling you the truth 'cuz it's their lives at stake. In doing so, I do hope such opinions and suggestions will help shape the kind of leader we all hope you would be.
