The Chief of the Kombo South District, Alhagie Sheriff Ajeh Janneh, has appealed to cattle, sheep and goat owners in his district to keep their animals from eating people’s crops. Rift Valley Fever (RVF) has infected more than 400 people inMadagascar, with at least 17 fatalities, according to the Ministry of Health(MoH). A D500,000 fraud case involving one Prince Victor, a Nigerian national (accused) and one Babucarr Bah, the complainant, recently continued at the Kanifing magistrates Court presided over by senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbacke. Yundum Resident to be Tried

A resident of Yundum, Musa Sowe, will now be tried by the Brikama Magistrates’ Court for being found in possession of a stolen item. Musa was on Thursday of last week charged for being found with a bull, knowing or having reason to believe that the animal was illegally acquired. The bull’s said to have been acquired from the southern Senegalese province of Cassamance. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and will go on trial soon.
