Haruna Camara is standing trial for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" ><span>The bail conditions further stipulated that he should produce two Gambian sureties, one of whom should be in possession of a valued D100, 000 landed property with title deed, which should be deposited to the court. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" ><span>The alleged offence revealed that on 16<span>th</span><span> </span>July 2008 at Serekunda, the accused stole a motor vehicle (Renault van) 14 passengers with registration number BJL 9516, being the property of one Ebrima Sanyang. Aviation Authority (GCAA) Lamin Njie has been granted a five million dalasis court bail. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" ><span>He was yesterday granted bail in the said sum with two Gambians with landed properties within the Greater Banjul Area, who must deposit their title deeds and identity cards as sureties. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" ><span>Mr Lamin Njie is standing trial for allegedly stealing four million nine hundred thousand, being the property of the Gambia Government, a charge he denied.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" ><span>According to the particulars of the offence, between January 2005 and December 2007, while working for GCAA, Mr Lamin Njie stole the sum of D4, 900,000.00.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" ><span>The presiding magistrate, Pa Harry Jammeh contrary to Sections 228 and 312 sub-Section (1) of the Criminal Code, Laws of The Gambia.  </p> <p> According to the particulars of offence, on or about August 17, 2007, at Mariama Kunda, Kombo North in the Western Region, Musa Marong wilfully and unlawfully assaulted one Ebrima Mbye, with a broken bottle and stabbed him on his hand, thereby causing him actual bodily harm. </p> <p> The other charge stated that on or about August 17, 2007 at Mariama Kunda Kombo North, in the Western Division, Ebrima Mbye wilfully and unlawfully uprooted maize and cassava plants, valued at D2000, belonging to Musa Marong. </p> <p> When the charges were read to them both men pleaded not guilty.  They were then granted court bail at the sum of D15,000, each with a Gambian surety.
