Briefing ‘Entertainment’ on its services,the Coleman Restaurant boss, Assan Cole, said that the restaurant is poised to introduce extra services such as receptions dinners, party ceremonies, in their innovative menu as part of efforts to meet the growing need of their clientele.

He explained that they would continue to come up with lots of surprising packages to entice their teeming clientele, adding that in due course, clientele can expect the inclusion of coffee and tea breaks etc.

Coleman Restaurant and Catering is located on Bertil Harding Highway, Mile 7 Bakau.

Speaking in an interview with our very own Njie Baldeh, the Proprietor and General Manager of Coleman, Assan Cole, said his restaurant started operations since October, 2006 and specialises in African food. He mentioned Peace Corps Volunteers and National Malaria Control  Programme personnel as their best customers, adding that the restaurant also does catering for workshops.

With his wealth of experience and knowledge in culinary matters, Mr Cole said he was confident that Coleman  will surely be the hottest spot in town.

Touching on the number of people working at his restaurant, Mr Cole stated that eight staff are working with him on permanent basis. Coleman restaurant and catering is in the heart of the business area along Senegambia .

D-Nubian with its special beat and charming atmosphere is owned by a Gambian hotshot entrepreneur, Madam Ariatou Jallow.
Spent more than 15 years in the United States of America, Ms Jallow has a treasury of knowledge in catering and is poised to add extra touch to the catering sector of The Gambia.

In an interview with The Point at her restaurant recently, Ms Jallow said that she was in the system for 15 years while studying in the US, adding that since she returned home in 1994 she has also been actively engaged in the hospitality industry. 

She went on to say that the objective of opening D-Nubian is to empower women through creating jobs opportunities for them as well as to contribute towards national development.
Ms Jallow is the proprietor of D- Bistro and H2 Cleansing services.
