Another cutlass wielder charged

Babucarr Touray, a native of Bakoteh, was on Wednesday arraigned before the Kanifing Magistrates Court for going out late in the night with a cutlass. He was caught by the police at around 3:00 am. When the charge sheet was read to him, he pleaded not guilty. The case was then adjourned.  The accused was granted bail in the sum of D10, 000 with a Gambian surety.

One Solomon James, a clearance agent at The Gambia Ports Authority (GPA), was on Monday arraigned before Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake on charges of obtaining money by false pretext.
