Lt. Col. Biran Saine Sacked

LieutenantColonel Biran Saine, Chief of Staff of Gambia National Guards, has received adischarge from the army, this paper can confirm. Lt. Col. Saine was given thesack on Friday. Lt Col Vincent Jatta, 43, former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) passed away during the early hours of yesterday following a short illness, reliable sources said.
