Assailiants convicted

Ali Jarju and Kebba Jarju were recently convicted and sentenced to a fine of D1000 each in default to serve three months in prison by the Bundung Magistrates’ Court. The duo were under going trial before Magistrate B.O Jobe for the offence of assault. The convicts were reported to have jointly stabbed one Pa Bojang on his neck. Man convicted for illegal possession of firearms

One Alagie Jagne was recently sentenced to pay a fine of D750 or in default to serve a three-month imprisonment. Two convicts sentenced

The Banjul Magistrates Court, presided over  by Magistrate Kayode Olajubutu, on Thursday, sentenced two convicts, Lamin Ceesay and Ousman Nyass to a one-year imprisonment each, without an option of a fine, upon their plea of guilt to charges of escaping from lawful custody.
