Omega Palace, A New Dining Utopia

Information reaching Entertainment has revealed a new dinning spot with a difference, Omega palace. It is located along the Westfield Highway just next to Jokor Night Club and is one of the latest entrants in the foods industry. Officially opened in April this year, OmegaPalace is a unique palace indeed for all kinds of catering services.

Briefing Entertainment recently, The manager of OmegaPalace, Pastor Thomas, said that OmegaPalace was established to serve the larger community in a clean and decent environment devoid of alcohol and smoking. Our motto here is, “eat well and live long. We offer dishes in our daily menu, including African, European and continental dishes as well, and cater for birthday parties e.t.c,” he said.

For his part, The chief cook of OmegaPalace, Mr Walter Moses, a veteran cook, is the man behind the delicious meals at OmegaPalace. A trained cook from The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Walter Moses has worked with major hotels in The Gambia, where he won management approval for his wealth of cooking experience. So if you are looking for a place where there is no alcohol is consumed and a place where cigarettes are not smoked, then OmegaPalace is your place

Alioune Mbaye Nder Poised for Night of Fun-fare

Brikama Jokor is, on May 25th, expected to be virtually bursting at its seams as party people from various parts of Western Region and beyond throng Brikama’s premier entertainment point for a night of fun-fare with Alioune Mbaye Nder.

The newly crowned king of Mbalax will, later this month, arrive in Banjul for three-day explosive concerts at various locations in the country. Invited by New Desire Njoofen, Alioune Mbaye Nder will first assume the center-stage on May 25that Brikama Jokor and then the exquisite Jama Hall on May 26th. Jokor Westfield at the Westfield interjection will get busy on May 27thas the Mbalax maestro crowns his journey of entertainment.

Mbye Nderr to Descend on Gambia

How fast time flies when one is in good company. In little less than three weeks, the Senegalese Mbalax icon Alieu Mbye Nder and the Setsima Group, will once again converge on the Gambian soil for yet another eye-opening concerts of lifetime experience.

Organized by New Desire Njoofen, Alieu Mbye Nder and his ensemble, will stage live concerts at Jama Hall, Jokor Brikama and Jokor Westfield respectively.

“The concerts will kick-start on 25 at Jama Hall and will be repeated to audiences at Jokor Brikama on 26 and then Jokor Westfield on 27,” Entertainment was hinted.

Mbye Nder to Storm Gambia

The renowned Senegalese music super star, Alieu Mbye Nder and his Le Setsima group will storm The Gambia next week for a series of concerts, courtesy, Champion Sounds.

The event, which is geared towards giving music aficionados a special new year treat will be held on the 4, 5, and 6 January 2008, at Willy’s nightclub in Lamin, Jaama Hall and Jokor Westfield respectively.

On top of the sublime live entertainment music lovers in The Gambia can also look forward to getting their hands on Nder’s new album Confiance.

DJ Lamin Cham is therefore  urging  all and sundry to attend the event.
