Current Feed ContentAccused Bail RevokedMagistrate John Njie of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court on Monday revoked the bail that had been granted to Sulayman Trawally. The accused, together Saikou Sidibeh, Yahya Jarju and Ousman Kujabi, is standing trial for obtaining money by false pretence. The magistrate revoked the bail because Sulayman Trawally is a friend of the accused at large who is alleged to disappeared with the money. The case will be heard again on 7th August 2008.Fraudsters Back in the DockedLast Wednesday show the resumption trial of Ousman Kujabi, Saikou Sidibeh and Sulayman Trawelly before the Brikama Magisttrates Court. However the case could not proceed as the presiding Magistrate John Njie was said to be indisposed. The trio where alleged to have conspired and obtained the sum of D967, 800 by false means which is contrary to the laws of The Gambia. Kathryn Cunningham, a 22 year old undergraduate student, founded Power Up Gambia after participated in Cross Road Program in that hospital during the summer of 2006.
