The travelling team of Bruck set aside all odds emanating from going to work on their farms and having to trek kilometres to the venue of the final in Bwiam by putting up an impressive performance. They created numerous chances through star player Habibou Colley but could not hit the back of Sonko's net.

Sonko's goalie Musa Saidy rose to the occasion any time his goal mouth was threatened by Bruck strikers. The home team made no mistake in firing in the only goal of the game through their ubiquitous play maker, Alagie Sonko whose set piece kept Bruck goalkeeper glued on his spot.

Both teams made it to the final by narrowly edging out their formidable opponents in keenly contested encounters.
