Hearing in Robbery Case

Hearing of testimonies in the trial of an alleged armed robber commenced at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court in Western Region last week. Abubacarr Ceesay took the dock for ‘assault’ on one Cherno Jallow, at a time he (Ceesay) was “armed with a pistol”. The alleged assault took place in October of 2007 in the Kombo South village of Tanji in Western Region.
